Have you ever found yourself there?
You know…
Focusing on what’s going on right in front of you rather than speaking what He said about a matter.
One time, I went to the Med Clinic. Why? Because I don’t have a family doctor, and I wanted to check things out since it had been a while.
Now, I walked in on my own accord, and I was fine.
Before, I knew it people were running around asking me, ‘Are you feeling, ok?” After the tenth time of saying, “Yes, I’m fine.” I was thinking, “What in the world!”
They ran some tests and the doctor said, “Now, I’m going to scare you.” She looked at the chart and said, “This is fine, that’s fine, and that’s fine too.”
I wasn’t really waiting to be scared. I wasn’t paying attention to the commotion going on around me, and the urgency that they seemed to be placing on the situation.
I was praying. A few times I just closed my eyes, so that I couldn’t SEE. I was focusing on what He said.
The end of the story is good, and I’m still fine.
I believe that many times the enemy is looking for those of us who are so focused on what we SEE to give us a package that we don’t want.
And rather than focusing on what God has already said about a matter, we look at the situation and allow fear to come in.
If we give in to fear, then he tries to get us to accept a package by getting us to say what he has said versus what God has said.
Don’t fall for it!
Recently, I heard Creflo Dollar say, that we don’t see the supernatural because we’ve been trained to trust only what you see, feel, and hear.
Don’t I know it!
Do you think I wasn’t tempted to be afraid? I just simply refused to listen to what they were saying. When I first got saved, I lived on Hebrews 11:1 KJV.
11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
That day, I got what I prayed for not what the enemy was trying to give me, so SAY WHAT HE SAID!
I know it’s hard sometimes…STILL. Say what He says until it comes to pass.
Ask God to help you get out of your feelings. Ask Him to show you what He SEES.
2 Corinthians 4:18 KJV says,
18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Speak God’s Word about a situation…about a circumstance…about YOU AND THOSE YOU LOVE.
This is what Matthew 24:35 BLB says,
35Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
His Words will never pass away, so…
As Colossians 3:2 NIV says, “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Now, that’s the point of purpose. See you next time.
